Overview
William Tap led ANNOUNCE, the phase 3 trial that found olaratumab did not improve survival in soft-tissue sarcoma despite a striking phase 2 result, a widely cited cautionary tale for accelerated approval, and ENLIVEN, which won pexidartinib approval for tenosynovial giant cell tumour. He chairs the Alliance sarcoma committee and leads sarcoma medical oncology at MSKCC.
