Robin L. Jones
London sarcoma specialist who led TAPPAS, the trial that tested the anti-angiogenic protein TRC105 with pazopanib in angiosarcoma, and who has led many international sarcoma trials.
Overview
Robin Jones heads the sarcoma unit at The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research. He was first author of the 2022 Journal of Clinical Oncology report of TAPPAS, the phase 3 trial in which adding the endoglin antibody carotuximab (TRC105) to pazopanib did not improve progression-free survival in advanced angiosarcoma. He has been a lead investigator on trials of trabectedin, eribulin and afami-cel in sarcoma.
