Mesothelin is a GPI-anchored protein with restricted normal expression on mesothelial surfaces. Anetumab ravtansine failed in mesothelioma; mesothelin remains a leading solid-tumour CAR-T target, including regionally delivered and mRNA-CAR approaches.
