Amsokigene autoleucel is an experimental engineered autologous tumour-infiltrating lymphocyte cell therapy from Obsidian Therapeutics, in phase 2 trials for unresectable or metastatic melanoma resistant to checkpoint inhibitors and relapsed or refractory metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
Amsokigene autoleucel (OBX-115, Amsoki-cel, amsoki-cel) is an engineered autologous tumour-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cell therapy from Obsidian Therapeutics. The patient's own tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes engineered to carry membrane-bound IL-15, which removes the need for IL-2 doses. The IL-15 level is switched on by acetazolamide through the company's cytoDRiVE platform. Its furthest stage is phase 2, for unresectable or metastatic melanoma resistant to checkpoint inhibitors and relapsed or refractory metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. ClinicalTrials.gov registers it in 2 studies linked below. Agni-01 phase 1/2 NCT06060613 recruiting: phase 2 cohort in melanoma, phase 1 cohort in non-small cell lung cancer (company pipeline). Whether it works in people has not been established unless a trial below reports it.
