The Unicancer cancer centre for Normandy's Rouen region, an OECI Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a strong haematology and lymphoma programme.
Overview
Centre Henri Becquerel is the Centre de Lutte Contre le Cancer for Rouen and Upper Normandy, one of the 18 Unicancer centres. Alongside surgery, radiotherapy and medical oncology it has an unusually large clinical haematology department, and its lymphoma group, historically linked to the GELA and now LYSA cooperative groups, has led or co-led practice-changing trials in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The centre hosts an Inserm unit on lymphoma genomics with the University of Rouen Normandy and is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre.
