Centro di Riferimento Oncologico di Aviano (CRO)

The Centro di Riferimento Oncologico is a dedicated cancer hospital and research institute in Aviano, Friuli Venezia Giulia, recognised by the Italian Ministry of Health as an IRCCS. It provides medical oncology, radiotherapy, surgical oncology, haematology, nuclear medicine and a large clinical trials programme, and hosts research divisions in cancer epidemiology, molecular oncology, immunopathology and experimental pharmacology. CRO Aviano is accredited by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes as a Comprehensive Cancer Centre and coordinates the Friuli Venezia Giulia cancer network with the universities of Udine and Trieste.
