Aleix Prat
Translational oncologist who built genomic tests (HER2DX) to decide which HER2-positive patients can skip chemotherapy.
Overview
Aleix Prat developed the HER2DX genomic assay and led PAM50-based analyses across breast cancer trials, and is a principal investigator of PHERGain, which uses PET response to omit chemotherapy in HER2-positive early disease. He directs medical oncology at Hospital Clínic and the SOLTI cooperative group, focusing on biology-guided de-escalation.
