Meletios A. Dimopoulos
Greek haematologist who led POLLUX and CANDOR, two of the pivotal daratumumab combination trials in relapsed myeloma.
Overview
Meletios Dimopoulos (University of Athens) was principal investigator of POLLUX, which established daratumumab plus lenalidomide-dexamethasone in relapsed myeloma, and CANDOR (daratumumab plus carfilzomib), and co-led APOLLO and the ELOQUENT trials. He has authored the IMWG guidelines on renal impairment in myeloma and led the international consensus on Waldenström macroglobulinaemia treatment.
