Overview
Pieter Sonneveld was principal investigator of PERSEUS, the trial showing daratumumab added to bortezomib-lenalidomide-dexamethasone before and after transplant improves progression-free survival and MRD negativity in newly diagnosed myeloma, and led the HOVON-65/GMMG-HD4 trial that established bortezomib in induction. He chairs the European Myeloma Network and has led HOVON myeloma trials for three decades.
