Overview
Thierry Facon (Lille) was principal investigator of MAIA, the trial showing daratumumab plus lenalidomide-dexamethasone dramatically improves progression-free and overall survival in transplant-ineligible newly diagnosed myeloma, with median survival now beyond seven years, and of FIRST, which established continuous lenalidomide-dexamethasone in this population. He led the IFM frailty score work and co-leads the IMROZ isatuximab trial.
