Robert Negrin

Robert Negrin is President of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) for the 2026 term, serving alongside President-Elect Cindy E. Dunbar and Vice President Alison Loren on the Executive Committee of the professional society for clinicians and scientists in haematology, including blood cancers. He is Professor of Medicine (Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy) at Stanford University, where he chaired the Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation from 2000 to 2020. His laboratory studies graft versus host and graft versus tumour reactions, regulatory T cell therapy to prevent complications after transplantation, and expansion of cytotoxic cells for immunotherapy.
