Young Lives vs Cancer
Young Lives vs Cancer gives families of children and young people with cancer a free place to stay near the hospital and a social worker on the ward.
Overview
Young Lives vs Cancer, formerly CLIC Sargent, supports children and young people up to 25 with cancer in the UK. Its Homes from Home are free houses next to principal treatment centres where families stay for as long as treatment requires; its social workers, based in the hospitals, help with money, school, work and emotional support; and it gives registration grants and other financial help.
