An oral selective degrader of a previously undrugged kinesin involved in DNA segregation, including segregation of extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA) during cell division. Its furthest stage is phase 1, for ER-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer and luminal androgen receptor triple-negative breast cancer. ClinicalTrials.gov registers it in one study linked below. June 2026: company said early pharmacokinetic exposure in KOMODO-1 (human oral bioavailability well below preclinical prediction) did not support continued development (10-Q for quarter ended 30 June 2026). Registry trial NCT07408089 TERMINATED for a business decision related to a corporate transaction, not safety. Whether it works in people has not been established unless a trial below reports it.
